Vacation Rental Property

Have you ever thought about renting a part of your home to vacationers? It is a great way to make some additional income. You can totally control your schedule of visitors by blocking out days/weeks you need to reserve for your own use.
There are many rental sites, VRBO.com and Flipkey.com, where you pay an annual fee to use their reservation system. Rental requests are sent to you via these sites. You then communicate with guests to arrange their dates of stay, communication of house rules, rates, etc.
I rented my lower level apartment for $100 a night. I met many wonderful people from all over the world. They enjoyed our quiet close-in Seattle neighborhood, appreciated the extra space and the good rental rates. It was a win/win!
Check out my View Ridge listing that would be a perfect vacation rental, live upstairs with 2 bedrooms and a large sunroom - rent the downstairs apartment with 2 bedrooms, full kitchen and lots of space for lounging. 6514 53rd Ave NE, Seattle.
